Barb Wagner, LNHA
Administrator
With more than 30 years experience in the long
term health care field, Barbara Wagner is one
of the most knowledgeable Skilled Nursing Care Administrators
in the area. Since joining McKnight Place Extended
Care in 1996 she has maintained a deficiency free
facility from annual state inspections. She is
also responsible for creating a Resident's Weight
Committee for better health, expanded choices
for meals and she
prides herself on creating a cohesive group of
caretakers to provide the excellent care for the
residents.

Tonya Tullis
Admissions Coordinator
As Admissions Coordinator, Tonya Hammond-Tullis handles inquiries, provides tours and answers questions about the continuum of services provided at McKnight Place Extended Care. Tonya enjoys helping people find the right fit for their senior living needs and is always happy to share information about the caring, competent staff and wide range of services offered at McKnight Place Extended Care. She previously served as Marketing Director for Briley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Before that, she was Marketing Director and Social Worker for Good Samaritan Health and Rehabilitation in Nashville.

Dr. Ehab Kaiser
Medical Director
As Medical Director at McKnight Place Extended Care Dr. Kaiser is the personal physician for over 75%
of our residents residing within the building. He
is a member of both the American Geriatrics Society
and the American Medical Directors Association.
He is the "house physician" available
24/7 for the medical needs of our residents. Dr.
Kaiser has a magnificent "bedside manner" spending time with both the residents
and their families. He is compassionate and understanding and a true asset to our McKnight Place Extended
Care family.

Pam Huseman, MCAD
Activites Director
Pam has over 11 years experience working in Activities.
She brings with her a unique and always creative approach to making the resident's days
more enjoyable with her never ending ideas. She
is responsible for overseeing the many parties and events held here at McKnight Place for the residents. Her creativity is shown with the many crafts she
helps the residents create, the implementation of
new activities such as Aromatherapy and her unending energy she puts forth in all her projects for the residents. |
Mary Ann Schroeder
Director of Social Services
Mary Ann has been with McKnight since 1998 as the
Social Worker. Mary Ann also has a valuable role
within our facility because she initiates and organizes
the care plans for our residents.Also, she coordinates
transportation needs,works with the four specialty
physicians who come into our facility, arranges
for phone and cable services and is the Resident
Council Coordinator. Mary Ann is our "jack
of all trades" and
does her job with a smile on her face and a song
in her heart.

Bernice Irwin, RNC
Director of Nursing
Bernice joined the staff of McKnight
Place Extended Care in 2001. She brings with her
over 25 years experience as a Registered Nurse certified
in gerontological nursing. She has over twelve years
of experience as a Director of Nursing in long term
health care facilities. Bernice offers an incredible
amount of knowledge and expertise relative to working
with the residents and the families. Both residents
and families are assured they will be receiving
the highest level of care due to Bernice’s
diligence in maintaining the best staff and overseeing
the individual over-all care of the residents. She
brings with her a smile and a reassuring word to
everyone around her.

Annette Lee
Resident Care Supervisor
Annette has been with McKnight Place
Extended Care since 1998 in a variety of integral
roles and in 2003 she was given a unique position
of Resident Care Supervisor. Annette is a liaison
between the nurses and the certified nursing aides
who provide the direct care of our residents.
She is involved in providing care to our residents
and oversight and training to our valuable certified
nursing aides who provide the “frontline
care” to our residents. Annette has a remarkable
talent for endearing herself to both the residents,
families and staff and helps keep the everyday
operations of our beautiful facility running smoothly.

Elaine Corser-McCafferty, RN
Assistant Director of Nursing
Elaine comes to us from Kansas and brings 11 years of nursing experience to her very important role of assisting our Director of Nursing. She worked previously as a manager in an acute care hospital specializing in oncology, as an office nurse specializing in vascular surgery and as Assistant Director of Nursing in a long term care facility. Elaine oversees the training and daily operations of our professional nursing staff, ensuring that our Residents continue to receive the highest quality care. She also works with staff and families to develop individualized care plans for each Resident.
